History
James Schrader Sr. recognized the potential
for growth in aluminum products and founded the Duro-Cast foundry in Chicago,
Illinois in 1945. The foundry operations were later moved to Somonauk, IL and,
through acquisition, a second foundry was added in Rock Island and the company
name was changed to Precision Enterprises, Inc. Today, Precision consists
of state-of-the-art foundry and machining operations offering a full range of
capabilities in the U.S. and abroad through partnerships with foundries in India
and China
